I grew up on a ranch in Montana my ancestors homesteaded in 1880. I spent a lot of time outside contemplating the amazing color ways of the natural world. These works are my attempt to capture an essence, converting the color-way of a sunrise or the likeness of a bird to wearable art. The lovely thing about beads is they are light enough to travel, I can carry them with me on horse back and set up in a backcountry field making jewelry surrounded by uninterrupted inspiration, I hope the joy I know making these pieces translates and they in turn bring joy to you.
